Is that Autumn and Paolo? No. Apparently Hallmark forgot Paolo was in this movie because he’s not in any of the official photos. 🤷♀️ Kacey and Carlo are adorable though.
Hallmark’s Synopsis
“In the second movie of this sequel trilogy, Emma is teaching and working hard to prove she can step into the department chair role, as Paolo’s lace shop is about to open. On track for her life plan, Emma feels strongly that things fall into place before she and Paolo grow their family. As the couple navigates their busy work schedules and finding the perfect time, Emma bumps heads with the current chair of her department and starts questioning her life choices. With support from Paolo –- and perhaps a little help from the veil — will Emma find the courage to stop planning her life and start living it?”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I loved this story so much! Autumn and Paolo are adorable together, and the glimpses into their married life were just so sweet. I’m loving the aspect of this second trilogy that explores married life instead of just the falling in love part.
My major problem is that I can’t believe an art history professor would need that much convincing to move to Italy, haha, but with Emma’s personality type I found it believable that she would need a minute to let go of the dream she thought she wanted. I kind of loved the plot twist with her boss; I’m not sure that would go over well in real life, but it totally made me LOL.
Can we please talk about the freakin’ delight that is Kacey Rohl?!! I loved her as Lily and thought she and Carlo Marks were so cute as Lily+Marco.
And of course I adored the Avery/Emma/Tracy scenes! The romances are sweet but for me these movies are about the three of them. Tracy is still my favorite, her sarcastic comments and looks always crack me up. I died laughing in this one when she was worried about her Uber rating; it was a quick one-liner but it was just so Tracy. 😂
I think this is replacing #3 as my favorite Veil movie. Was it the most exciting movie ever? No. There was just a sweet realness to it that I found comforting and cozy. I also want Emma’s house and wardrobe. 🙌
